Ok so I wanted to be better at posting a month ago so maybe I'll try it again! October is a very busy month in our house every weekend we had something going on, and I still get a little exhausted remembering it and thinking about next October! What happened in October you say? Well I'll tell you, the first weekend is always General Conference weekend but this year I had someone ask me if I would be interested in having my own booth at a car show giving massages to people so of course I said yes!! However the night before Conference my husband started talking to me and opened my eyes to the discussion I had before me, I could either miss Our PROPHET speak and go do something I wanted to do, or i could stay home to LISTEN and WATCH our prophet and his apostles tell me the things my HEAVENLY FATHER wanted to me to hear that specific day. So what did I do?? I stayed home and boy am I glad I did! I heard so many beautiful testimonies and words of encouragement and I knew I needed to change my life so that I would never be tempted to not hear my Heavenly Fathers words again. It was such a wonderful weekend! It was also Evan's (he's my little brother) 18th birthday and my mother inlaw's birthday. So it was a great weekend to start the month!

The next weekend the 10th was My 3rd WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!!! I was married 3 years ago to a great, great man. He has filled my life with so many different emotions (good and bad, for those of you who are married you know what I mean) and experiences that I never knew were possible. I love him and I am so glad I married him! So for our 3rd anniversary we decided we wanted to go see CATs the musical thats coming to KC on Nov 6th! We also had the youth of our church over for a fireside and one of the girls brought brownies that she made and she told me she wanted to write HAPPY 3RD ANNIVERSARY on it but she didn't have any white frosting, isn't that cute? I thought it was!

Now after a restful week we come upon the next weekend the 15th-17th!........It is officially KC MARATHON weekend! Was i ready? No way! On Thursday Tyre and I picked up our Race packets and headed to bed early for a youth temple trip her ward was having! They were headed up to Nauvoo, Ill where I was married so I couldn't pass it up! I drove the 4.5 hours there and almost wrecked but we made it the end we made it there safely and in time to see my Aunt before she headed back to California. My sister Micah and her girls walked around Historic Nauvoo while the youth did baptisms and when they were through we got to do an endownment session, it was AWESOME!!! At that point I had, had 3 jam packed weekends full of the spirit! I couldn't have been a more blessed person. The session was beautiful but we didn't get out of there until 5 or so which means we didn't get home until 10ish I was so mad because I knew that the following morning I was supposed to be running 26.2 MILES!!! I was very nervous. But when the morning came I was full of energy and very excited! The RUN went amazing I finished in 4:26! Which is faster then I expected, Tyre ran the half marathon in 1:56 and finished 3rd in her division and got a trophy! It was a great weekend, the best part was that after the race the next day I wasnt sore at all!! How crazy is that??

The weekend of the 23rd and 24th was cannery weekend! Kyle, myself and some members of our ward went to the cannery and had a blast I came home with 75lbs of oats 50lbs of beans and 25lbs of wheat!! It wasnt all for me though! I picked up some stuff for others that weren't ablw to make it, good thing too because I don;t know where I would have put it all or what I would have done with it all! The 25th was also Kyle's 28th birthday, my hubby is getting to be an old man! We didn't do much because we both had to work but I did bake him yellow cupcakes with chocolate frosting! His FAV!

The weekend of the 30th and 31st was obviously Halloween weekend, so we got to clean the church building and spend the day together, finally a day to ourselves!! We ran errands and spent all the money we could! Kyle has been putting together his own gym in our garage so we mainly got a bunch of stuff for that but it was fun just to be around and with him, He's so great!
Halloween was cool but we only had one trick or treater, so I don't think I will buy candy again for Halloween it just ends up on my hips!

Now it is finally November and I have promised to post some awesome recipes for my sisters so here I go!

Ok so I want to try blogging again!! I thought that I didn't really have anything to blog about but as i sit and think about it I'm usually up to something! I also had forgotten my password so I was unable to log in until I took the time to reset it, its such a hassle! Right now we are living in Lawrence Kansas and we LOVE it! We live in a super cute duplex that has a garage!!! We've never had a garage of our own and its amazing! No kids yet to fill our spare bedroom but our animals are doing well, Meela turned 1 in August and I think has finally hit about 80lbs!! hopefully she has more growing to do. Kyle is attending the University of Kansas and doing great in school and I have taken a job with the Government I'd tell you what I do but I can't because its confidential!...Actually I work at a health clinic that serves Native Americans and Alaskan Natives! I really enjoy it because there is something new to do and see everyday. I aslo am slowly getting my name out there as a Massage Therapist which is what I would want to do full time if I had enough clients.

My mother in law gave me a steam bath cooker thing so lately lisa and I have been canning lots of yummy things! We purchased 100lbs of tomatoes from the Farmers Market and made a ton of spaghetti sauce and salsa! We also did Black beans and I am looking forward to canning Dilly Beans, which is my favorite!

I also am pathetically training for the Kansas City Marathon which is October 16th. I was very enthusiastic about running it the day I signed up but now I am regretting that impulsive act! However I know that when Race Day comes adrenaline will be rushing through my veins and I will enjoy every step for 26.2 miles! Nothing beats the feeling of accomplishment when you realize you just did something not very many people will ever do! (No offense to any reader because I know there are things that you do everyday that I will not be able to accomplish in this lifetime)

Well theres a little update on the fam! Hopefully I'll remember the password this time and continue to blog, even if its just to post a recipe!! JK! I actually love those blogs and feel as though I dont make anything daring or fancy enough to compete but maybe every once in a while!

I'm a little late posting this but last saturday I ran the Kansas City Marathon!! 26.2 miles baby!! It was hard but very rewarding and i'm very proud of myself. I was so nervous the night before and very excited when I woke up at 5 am on race day! However as I was driving to the race it was pouring rain and very chilly, but it turned out to be a pretty day and there were so many people there it was amazing. I can't believe I did it!! My body was so sore the next day I could not even walk!!! Monday however i was bale to get a massage and it really helped! BUt anyway heres a video of me crossing the finish line!! P.S I'm dancing across the finish line, i'm not havng a seizure!!

Brost baby girl#2!!!!!!!!!! We are so excited to intoduce our second member of the family today! Her name is Meela, shes only 8 weeks old and weighs about 12 lbs. Shes very cuddley and very beautiful, Kyle and I are very excited to have her. Meela is a great pyreneese so her being only 12lbs wont last very long! We have had 2 very successful trips to the bathroom outside today and a few surprises in between but so far she seems smart and very quick to learn! Welcome to our family Meela

So I'm running the Kansas City marathon in October and I am at, well I've kind of been at a burn out stage here this month. i just get tired of running, which is odd for me because i love it soo much. I love it because it's just me and whatever road I choose to pound on for 5-19 miles. I love it because I get to think and dream, and enjoy the hidden beauties only a sweaty, tired, and thirsty runner will see ( a johnny on the spot, with or without toilet paper is never more exciting to find then when you are on a long run)! However today I just didn't feel like running. I went out with a goal of about 16 miles and i only made it 1.5! Why?! I'm not sure but I guess I'll have to try tomorrow!~

I'm nervous about the marathon but also excited, I'm nervous at what my body will do during the 26.2 mile stretch but excited because i will be among other avid runners who love the sport for all the same reasons i do, and because of all the adrenaline that will be rushing through my body from just being around them! I know I can run the full distance and I've always wanted to. So I will and i will let you know how it goes.

So kyle teaches early morning seminary for our church and on this particular day they were learning about when nephi was tied up by his brothers and nephi prayed for the strength to loosen the ropes which held him bound. Well who knows how long it took nephi to loosen those ropes, all we know is that the lord heard nephis prayer and gave him the strength to brake those ropes. what an amazing story! so you know the story you see the object lesson figure out how to apply it to your life, the seminary students did!!

these are my new vibram five finger shoes! They are the best shoes I have ever owned, they are so comfortable. Its like walking barefoot all the time! Yes, each toe fits in the shoe individually, like a glove or toe socks. Its a little weird at first but they are so comfortable you will never want to take them off!

I can wear them walking, running (this particular style is made for running), hiking, swimming, or while doing yoga! I love them, everyone needs a pair!
